Shaolin Kungfu & Culture Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote closer cultural and friendship between the United States and China through Buddhism and Shaolin martial arts. All of our events are open to the public, so feel free to come join us!

Upcoming Events for 2009:


To celebrate the 60th anniversary of China’s National Day, the Shaolin Kung fu and Culture Foundation would like to invite Chinese supporters to come with us to the China Songshan Shaolin Temple from July 10, 2009 to July 21, 2009.  The trip will cover Songshan Shaolin Temple and Bejing. If you sign up for the trip before March 19, 2009, the price for the trip will be $3,000.  After March 19, the price will be $3,500.  The plane tickets, living, and food expenses will be covered.

 

1.    January 5:     We welcome all to join our press conference.

2.    January 25 Night to January 26 Morning: We look forward for you to also join us in our “Heart-to-Heart Lighting Ceremony,” a Buddhist ceremony involving the lighting of candles.

3.    January 28:    Our organization will be offering vegetarian meals serving up to one hundred people.

4.    February 13:     We will be hosting the opening of Shaolin Buddhist statues, a Buddhist ritual that is performed to honor the spirit of the Buddha.

5.    February 21:    Our foundation will host a special event “The New Year Celebration of World Peace.” in recognition of Chinese New Year.

6.    March 3 – 5:  This mission of this event is to promote “The International Theory of Buddhism,” which is to educate the public about the teachings of Buddhism.  

7.    March 10 – 12:    Visit centers for the elderly and orphanages.

8.    March 17 - 28:    We will visit other Buddhist organizations, temples, schools, and the Asia Cultural Organization.  Our foundation will visit the United Nations as well.
